I’ve been busy making some shifts in my own world, and I’m ready to tell you about one of them.
I’m creating new programs and offerings, and I’m revealing one of them in a
preview of coming attractions today. It’s not finished yet, but it’s getting there,
and I’m finally ready to tell you about it.
It’s a book for children 3-8 called Calm Down, Peter Puppy. It’s about an adorable
furry white Pomeranian puppy who’s a little ball of energy. His mommy tells him that he needs
to calm down, and so she and the other furry dogs in his family help him to feel
relaxed and calm through some amazing things that they do. As you might have guessed,
I’m using hypnotic techniques, Gordonian hypnosis to be specific, and tons of love
to help Peter and all the children and their families who read and listen to this book
and audiobook. It will be available soon!
I have an awesome artist who lives in Moldova, near Russia. I love the talent and heart
she’s putting into this project, and here are two of her great creations,
which I’m revealing for the first time.
What kind of information about a specific need, want or interest of yours would you like me to address in our emails, products or courses?
In other words, what kinds of challenges are you seeking solutions for?
One man sold encyclopedias. He did well because he was charming, but it wasn’t his true calling. He also served in the Navy – but that wasn’t his true calling either. He found his calling when he became interested in acting. It was a circuitous route, but Paul Newman finally found what he’d come here to do.
Another man made good money in the music business, but he made some bad investments and lost it all at age 28. He went back home and lived with his parents. But soon everything changed for Simon Cowall, and he found what he had come here to do – become a major music mogul.
She was badly abused in her childhood – beaten and verbally demeaned. But she had something truly magnificent inside of her, and she kept on going. That was Ammachi or Mata Amritanadamayi, also called “The Hugging Saint.” She became an enlightened, truly great human being.
Making a Difference
Every human being wants to matter, to be fulfilled, to have something to contribute, to go beyond just survival, to make a difference. You may need to reinvent yourself for this, but the seed of this contribution and fulfillment is already in you, deep inside.
So many people underestimate themselves – their gifts, talents, abilities to succeed and make a contribution to the world. It’s important to look at your infinite possibilities and true value so you can move your consciousness upward. You can then take creative action that expresses itself as your contribution to the world. You don’t have to live in quiet desperation, as Thoreau described it. You can create deep joy, fulfillment, success, and contribution to humanity.
There’s a Spark of Greatness Inside Your Being
You have gifts, talents and abilities that distinguish you. You have something in you that’s beyond the ordinary. You are here to make a contribution to this planet. There’s a seed in you that was planted even before your birth, and you’ve come here to let it grow and expand. You are also spiritually great as a reflection of the universal energy and power.
Do you Have a Dream and a Purpose to Fulfill?
Are you looking for yours? Do you know what in you is beyond the ordinary?
Just imagine for a moment that you’re walking into a theater, and you sit down in the audience. Now, this is no ordinary theater. It’s The Theater of the Soul – so you know it’s going to be a special production today as you sit in the audience and look out at the curtains. These, of course, are no ordinary curtains either. They’re your most powerful color, and they’re made of fabric that you love.
It’s almost show time, so you feel a sense of anticipation as you’re waiting for the curtains to rise. Now the lights begin to dim, some music (that you love, of course) begins to play, and the curtains begin to reveal what’s onstage. Lo and behold, you see yourself on the stage, looking and feeling exuberant and radiant. You’re getting ready to do your own presentation. You see yourself dressed in clothes you love, and you’re ready now to do what you came here to do onstage.
Here you are doing, being and having what you know you came here for. What does it look like? What does it feel like? Are there any words that express this? Any feelings in you? What is your body like? Experience yourself as fully present in this moment, in your greatness, making your contribution to the world.
Now take a moment to imagine one thing that you can do now that would express your greatness, one small shift you can make in your life that will take your journey to a new level. You can clear away all obstacles so that the deepest aspirations of your being can express themselves in their fullness.
Read a wonderful story in the book, Realize Your Greatness by Marilyn Gordon. It’s a story about a woman named Alice who overcomes her deepest challenges with work, finances, relationships, love and spirituality. It’s a kind of metaphysical Alice in Wonderland in which Alice, meets magical teachers and mentors–a mind healer, emotional consultant, relationship coach, hypnotist, yogi, life coach, spiritual advisor, wealth coach, oracle, and many more, who invite her into their amazing environments and shift her entire ground of being so that she reaches a new level of love, self-knowledge and manifestation.
Alice’s journey answers these questions and more: How can I create greater income and success, have a happier mind, overcome hurts of the past, create better relationships, find my life purpose and create a profound spiritual connection? Find out all about it here: http://amzn.to/TmsixX
In the late 1960’s, I was a high school English teacher. After that in the early ’70’s, I had a major shift in my life that began with yoga and meditation. When the shift in my life took place, I began teaching my own classes. I taught visualization, healing, yoga, meditation, various workshops, and I did one-on-one transformational sessions with people. I called this “inner healing.” Not until 1987 did I find out that the work I did was also called “hypnotherapy.”
One day, I met a woman, and she told me that she’d become certified as a hypnotherapist. I said to her, “What did you learn there?” She told me what she’d learned, and I said, “That’s what I do!” And I now knew I could take this work for which I had deep passion, and it could also be my career. So I became a certified hypnotherapist in 1987, and I began my work. I started out giving free hypnosis demonstrations every Friday night in Berkeley. Sometimes one person would come – and sometimes ten. I’d tell them what I did and show them, and I’d sell some tapes, and it began to grow from there.
I added to my inner healing work, helping people to transform their habits and accomplish what they wanted to do in their lives. I assisted them to reach states of higher consciousness and become the people they’d dreamed about becoming.
After this, my work began to grow exponentially. Having the certificate gave me a platform from which to launch the work I loved. First I taught in another hypnotherapy school, and I gave many classes and workshops.
I came to an understanding of inner healing as a process of experiencing, releasing and transforming the difficulties of life. One day, a woman I know said to me, “Why don’t you start a school?” Now, this seemed perfectly logical to me, as I’d been a teacher all my adult life, so I started a school. The school began to grow too. We’ve had several locations, and we’re now right across from the beautiful Lake Merritt in Oakland with a panoramic view of the lake.
I then began to branch out over the Internet with telecourses, teleseminars, online articles and more. I saw the infinite multiple streams of income that hypnosis can yield. I wrote a number of books and continue to do so, and I continue to see how assisting people to transform their lives can take many forms. Eventually I was to win six awards from the National Guild of Hypnotists, and my work grew even more.
This is what we teach people in our school: how to use specific powerful tools to assist others to overcome their challenges, live their life purposes, and transform their lives. We have a special method called “The Transformational Healing Method” that is very easy to learn and can be applied to everyone and everything. We give you a step-by-step blueprint the helps your clients experience, release, and transform anything in their lives that is in the way of their greatness. We give our students knowledge about how to create their practices. Over 5 of our graduates have started their own schools, and many have created successful practices in the areas that interest them. We show them how they, too, can create multiple streams of income from hypnosis, assist them to become true professionals, and guide them toward success in their work.
Getting my certificate made all the difference.
Are you ready for yours?
We have certification programs in Oakland . You can read more about it at www.lifetransformationsecrets.com or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
A few days ago, I had a procedure on my right eye that lifted off an old familiar cloud and made the world look crisp and clear. During this process, I brought in another old familiar friend –deep hypnosis – and everything became a most beautiful daydream and show of lights, as my entire body became completely and utterly still. I opted to have no sedatives – only a local numbing of my eye, and I was so delighted with how well it went. I wore an eye patch for a day to keep up with the current pirate trend, and when the patch came off, I was dumbfounded. I could see the signs on the streets and read the letters on them. I could see individual leaves on the trees and buds coming up on the branches. The letters on my computer are black instead of gray. So I’m looking at the physical world in a new way, and soon my left eye will get taken care of too.
It seems like the stresses of the mind have increased in our times, but these have been going on since the beginning of time and in every culture. Stresses about whether you’ll be eaten by a tiger or whether the Pony Express would bring your mail were as troubling as today’s thoughts about paying bills or computer breakdowns. There are many ways to relieve the stress of your mind. Some of them go back to time immemorial – ways that are tested by time that can help you to feel more peaceful in any situation.
Telling Your Mind to Be Quiet
Someone I know says, “Shut up, mind!” when challenging thoughts come up. If you don’t like that and want something more delicate, you can ask your mind to please be quiet. Whatever it takes. Something else you can say to your mind is, “No, I AM the peace of God.” Or you can say, “Peace be still and know that I am God.” Or “I AM the power of healing, and I AM healing myself now.”
Saying Four Magic Sentences
There’s a teaching from Hawaii called Ho’oponopono. It’s a wonderful approach to transforming and clearing your mind and your understanding. One of the major premises is to take full responsibility for everything that happens – even for what is happening in other people you come in contact with. This is based on the understanding that you’re creating your reality moment by moment. So then if this is so, you can say four sentences that help to cleanse your mind and that can work magic for you. Here they are (and they can be said inside yourself in any order): “Thank you; I love you; I’m sorry; please forgive me.” I’m thankful for all I have and all I am. I love you and raise my vibration and level of awareness to transmute anything. I’m sorry for not perceiving this with understanding, and I wish to be free of it in the spirit of forgiveness. Saying these four sentences has brought many miracles to people who’ve had obstacles in their minds and lives.
Knowing How to Breathe for Peacefulness
So often when you’re stressed out, your breathing is shallow, fast and concentrated up at the top of your lungs. Relaxed breathing goes down to your belly, so it’s deeper and slower. Your breathing is connected with your thoughts, so to relax your mind, concentrate on your breathing. Breathe deeply in an inhalation and slowly exhale. There are more detailed ways of breathing for relaxation, but slowing down and deepening your breathing is a good place to begin.
In my own life, meditation has been the cornerstone for all that I do and the great ancient reliever of stress. What happens when you meditate is that you relax enough to find a place in the core of yourself that is already free of stress. It’s like taking a vacation inside to a real paradise of peace. One way to meditate is to focus on words or images. You can use any of the words I mentioned above or just the word “om,” as this timeless word means that great peace of the universe. Give yourself a specific amount of time, and find a comfortable place to rest your mind in meditation.
Enumerating Your Blessings
Whenever you’re grateful, you go to another level of life. It’s a higher vibration, and here your mind becomes more quiet. You can enumerate what you’re grateful for. You can even mention seemingly small or hidden things that you hadn’t noticed before. “I’m grateful for my feet. They help me to walk.” I’m grateful for my teeth. They help me to eat.” “And my bed and my computer and my lamp that lets me see more clearly.” Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Asking Your Wise Mind
Ask your wise Mind to tell you the truth about something that’s concerning you. Ask it to tell you about your true worth, and it will tell you how magnificent you truly are. Ask it why it’s now necessary for that person you thought was so important to not physically be in your life for now, and it will show you how you’re to be empowered now and grow stronger. Ask your Wise Mind any question, and it will show you the true power of your mind to know and understand the higher truth
These are ways to overcome the stresses of your everyday mind, and these are ways to know and accept your own inner power.
